By David Forer In Notes on some recent wines

Tasted a lovely full throttle Alsace Riesling yesterday. Is there any other Alsace winery like Zind Humbrecht? Lovely full throttle rich riesling full of extract with a body and RS that begs for some aging in the cellar. Not a style for everyone, but a very good wine.
I wouldn't touch this for another minimum 7-8 years before seeing if the RS has calmed down a bit and the secondary character has come alive. Under all that structure, the wine has an elegance and typicity of riesling and of Alsace that is truly fantastic. Well done! 93 points.
