Different from the higher acid bone dry styles of other Australian rieslings such as those from Clare and Eden, the 2014 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge from Western Australia shows nice ripe round fruit. While the acidity is high it doesn't have the bone shaking quality - a really pleasant nice Australian riesling. Medium length, with more of a fruit character than a mineralogy focus. I could drink this all day - thoroughly enjoyable. Drink now and over the next 3-4 years. 89 points.
